Always, I have experienced outstanding Customer Service from all the staff at RUNAWAY SHOES Appleton location. Scott Downard, Manager, has “gone the extra mile” to listen to my needs, promptly placed my shoe orders, communicated their arrival, and made sure they are a good fit. Scott is the most knowledgeable and skilled Shoe Store Manager and Customer Service Provider I have encountered. Scott is a respectful, caring, pleasant and efficient individual. It is a pleasure to be a loyal customer of RUNAWAY SHOES in Appleton.

We came in to get new track and field training shoes for my daughter.. Scott immediately welcomed us and engaged in conversation with our daughter about her needs… did necessary checks to watch her mechanics while walking and jogging. Scott was very professional… The way he got her in the right shoe for her was efficient and precise. He understood her concerns and needs for best support for her arches and her over all foot comfort. She got a new pair of shoes and arch support inserts. Best thing about the visit was it was all about her…the questions were to her…he listened to her..he answered her.. it was like I wasn’t there…And that is how it should be!! The shoes weren’t for me! Great place to get shoes! The personalized experience is what makes this the one and only place to go to for your running shoe needs. Thank you, Scott!! And thank you Runaway Shoes for your expertise! Track and Field post season will be it’s best because of your knowledge and services.

My daughter and I wanted to buy shoes for cross-country meets. The sales person was extremely helpful and was very knowledgeable about each brand and style of shoe he showed us and also offered other alternatives to the brands we initially inquired about. Great customer service, one of my best shopping experiences.

Awesome customer service! Brooks sent the store the wrong pair and they still let me take the incorrect pair home to run in and use. To correct it they said once the new ones come in I can bring the worn ones back and exchange them for the proper pair. First time buyer, but they definitely gained a loyal customer through that service. Shoutout to Ross and Scott. Thanks guys

I waited too long to purchase a specific pair of shoes and spent two weeks hunting for them online, and found the last pair at Run Away Shoes, I ordered at 10pm on a Thursday and had them in hand at noon on Saturday. These folks were fast and awesome!!!

Mike did a great job. They were busy but he knew how to take care of business and gave me plenty of options to work through. I hadn't a clue about running shoes besides some ChatGPT conversations. He started simple and "walked" me through multiple options to the perfect pair of shoes.

First time customer. Went there because I had a fallen arch and needed shoes that are made for my feet. Heard that’s exactly what they do. My experience was first class. Everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. So thankful I went. Already took a walk in my new shoes. They have already felt so much better. I’ll definitely be back!
